31-12-07: SLOWING IT DOWN Today's meet was all about slowing down a little, and getting it right. After some changes to the car, we all got down the track ready to see if our calculations were right, and the car was going to do what we wanted. But what we didn't factor in was the heat of the day. It was HOT.
17-11-07: What happened this time? Due to work commitments, Fatboyz were only able to attend the Saturday 17/11 meet, but as the car is showing some consistency, this shouldn't have been an issue.
How wrong could we be. Just a little gasket foiled us. After our Bevan did his first pass, one of the
skinny girls noticed water pouring out of the engine bay ...
03-11-07: Oops! We've done it again
November 3rd started out tough ... times were low. But with a few checks over the car, the boys realised the NOS wasn't kicking in. Our last qualifier was 11.07, 1st elimination a PB of 11.03. But 2nd elimination spelt disaster, sparks down the track meant a broken tail shaft...
