Fatboyz are into drag racing (no kidding). Seriously now, Fatboyz racing came about with some relatively normal blokes having a mutual interest in the drag racing side of motorsport, and decided that they should actually do something about it, instead of sitting around just shooting the breeze. Drag Racing as a team, rather than solo, has a lot of benefits, such as the combination of a variety of knowledge and specialties with a lot more fun.

Fatboyz Racing was formed with the aim of progressing through the different classes of drag racing to ultimately perform at the top level. Top Door slammer or Top Fuel. However drag racing is not a cheap motorsport, especially in the top classes, and the team decided that there would be a lot to learn on the way. And oh boy, have we learnt a lot already. So, Fatboyz Racing is currently running the Ford XA Sedan powered by the good old 351 Cleveland in the Super Street drag racing category.

Initially the Fatboyz racing team was entirely self funded, although now the self funding has been subsidised by some motorsport sponsorship. Sponsors of the Fatboyz team are highly regarded by the motor racing team, and promotion is carried out whenever and wherever possible. Advertising is placed on the drag car, the website, and around the pit bay tent ... Have you met Pam our promotional girl? . .
